If you are looking for those candies of your youth, homemade fudge, freshly made dressings, scented candles and a whole lot more, then you need to visit Country Kettle located on Rt. 209 in East Stroudsburg south of the Marshalls Creek intersection. Country Kettle is HUGE! It does not look that way from the outside which looks just like a home, which it was at one time (I don't know the full history behind the actual structure), but that is irrelevant. What is relevant, is that Country Kettle is a lot of FUN! Swarovski Crystals, Lenox figurines, the list goes on and on. Country Kettle is a tourist destination but locals love it as well. I stocked up on some wasabi coated peanuts for a little kick while my 3 year old son was in candy heaven, his favorite being the Swedish Fish. Hooray for Country Kettle!

Poconos IDX Flex MLS SetUp
Attention Pocono Mountain Real Estate Agents. As you may or may not know flex has upgraded their IDX (Internet Data Exchange) For Realtors that belong to the board.
The upgrade provides a user friendly interface that allows prospective clients that visit your website to search for homes that are listed on Flex MLS.
One of my favorite features is that the software allows people who visit the site to save searches that match their criteria. When they save their search they are required to provide login information (name, password, and email) which then gets forwarded to YOU the agent. TALK ABOUT A QUALITY LEAD.
Please observe the old version of Flex IDX

And the NEW
The new has many more features which will entice buyers to keep coming back to your site and eventually they will call you because it is your pretty face they keep seeing.
It is a Buyers Market and if you do not have a tool that allows prospective buyers on your site how in the world are you going to capture their business.
If you find that your are not technologically savvy and need assistance with set up please contact LeadServ 1-973-513-1648. or email Johnsuda@myleadserv.com
-If you have admin rights to your current website we can add the IDX link for you
-if you do not have a website and need a site with the IDX search we can also help you with that as well.
Charges will apply depending on service!!!

The Big A Steakhouse moved a few months ago from it's spot on Rt. 209 in Marshalls Creek by the Flea Market as a result of eminent domain for the Marshalls Creek Bypass project. It moved 2 miles further north to the corner of Keystone Road and Rt. 209 to a building which used to be the old Great Bear Golf and Country Club clubhouse. The Great Bear Golf and Country Club and the community of the Estates at Great Bear are right behind the restaurant. The new location is a blessing and the food has improved since I last visited The Big A at its' old location. I had Sauerbraten that was right on in its presentation and taste, served with a sweet red cabbage and spatzel noodles. The Sauerbraten was tender and full of flavor served in a nice brown, sauerbraten gravy. My wife had steak tenderloins cooked medium rare and she enjoyed it thoroughly. The portions were generous. The prices are a little on the high side but the quality and portion sizes did make for a good value as well nice ambiance. I also enjoyed an "Island Breeze" cocktail made with Malibu Mango and Captain Morgan Rum. It was well made, very enjoyable. Service was efficient and the place is kid friendly. So if a nice dinner out with the family is what you have in mind, give The Big A Steakhouse a try. I wouldn't give it an "A" but a solid "B+" is what I am giving here.
