This charity was set up to benefit families with children suffering from cancer. Unlike many other organizations, One Child Too Many helps to offset the expenses families incur when a child is stricken with this horrible disease.

Saturday February 13th, 2010 a benefit Valentine's Dance will be held at the Wallenpaupack High School Cafeteria. Brendan Kizer, who succombed to cancer, was a student at Wallenpaupack High School. Click here to read Brendan's story.

There will be a D.J. playing your favorite tunes, lots of goodies to eat, plenty of good times to share while helping other families.

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Cost: $6 per person, $9 per couple ($$$ Save $1 by purchasing tickets in advance!)

Weichert Realtors Paupack Group is excited to announce the newest member to the Weichert Team: Cindi Sharma.

Cindi has been enjoying summer life on Lake Wallenpaupack for years, and recently purchased a home in Hemlock Farms. She comes from a family of REALTORS, and shares a little bit about herself below.

Originally from Norristown, PA, I spent my entire life coming to the family cabin at Lake Wallenpaupack. I am living out a family dream of living in NE PA, at Hemlock Farms with my husband and two children.

I worked in retail sales in the family business, waitressed, was a Parent Partner for Family SVC, and am a certified teacher in Special Ed. and Elemementary Ed. I am a member of the PTA, attend the PASS autism support groups in Milford, volunteer time with the youth group at the Church of Hemlock Farms, Girl Scouts, Tri-State Pregnancy Center, and have served on the Landscaping Comm. at Hemlock Farms.

I like working with people because it is challenging and rewarding. I am a third generation Realtor. I currently work at Weichert because their success is a result of high spirited teamwork and dynamic internet marketing. My expertise in public relations gives me the skills to understand clients needs in real estate.

Beautiful Weekend is HERE!

Counting down the minutes to LABOR DAY Weekend on the Paupack and thinking what a wide variety of weather we have experienced while showing homes here in the Pocono Mountains of Lake Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania. One day, get the rain gear on and don't take the gear off for 5 weeks to waking the next month with "Wow, the humidity slammed in" to now having clear blue days and cool nights. I could not help thinking while going thru this crazy weather season showing homes to clients, if the house is not flooding or floating away or the home is keeping energy efficient with the fast weather change then you found your next home! Don not wait, put the offer in and let us see where the final sale price will be agreed upon between you and the seller.

If you see me out and about, come sit, will have drink ready. Looking towards the up coming months and can not help take notice of the current fixed rates for mortgages.
