The Cal Yoder - Living in Lancaster Group settled on 218 E Marion Street, one of the Homes for Sale in Lancaster, PA. Stephanie, a first time home buyer was guided through the buying process by Jill Gilson. Completing this deal was a labor of love and Jill is to be commended for her perseverance and service. The settlement was completed on Friday with the aid of Kris from Edge Abstract and John Acton of Freedmont Mortgage.

One of the challenges 218 E Marion Street, one of the Homes for Sale in Lancaster offered was the appraisal. An out of town appraiser valued this property $30,000 under the purchase price. It was a reminder that real estate agents must be vigilant from the beginning to the end of each transaction in order to help clients reach their goals. Luckily we were able to overcome this with a new appraisal and with perseverance.

Because Stephanie has a demanding career and lived a distance from her new home, it took some extra effort for the Living In Lancaster Group to help her find her new home. On the first visit, with the permission of the home owner, we were able to take a video of 218 E Marion Street. In the end, this sealed the deal and helped Stephanie realize she wanted this little gem.

This home overlooks Musser Park in Lancaster City and has a fantastic setting. A small end of row home which was lovingly rehabilitated by its former owner will provide a beautiful home for Stephanie.
