Homes for sale in Lancaster, PA show some stability. Statistics show:
Homes for sale in Lancaster, PA sold at 97% of list price in September 2011. Sellers who price their homes at or near market value are able to sell their homes. If you are a seller and you have few showings or are having showings, but no offer, there is one solution. You must reduce your list price. This is the hard, cold reality of this market place and the sooner you realize it, the sooner you will be successful in selling your home.

If you are a buyer of a Home for sale in Lancaster, PA, the fact that homes sold for 97% of the list price is an important fact. Homes priced at market value will need to be bought at close to list price. It is important to rely on accurate data in developing your offer price. Low balling your offer will reduce your opportunity to be successful.

Chili's in Lancaster was the site for an appointment I had with a potential new team member to the Living in Lancaster Group - Cal Yoder. This location is very close to our office and was chosen for convenience. In fact I walked to Chili's, which I love to do.
John was present when I arrived at Chili's at 11:30. We spent a great hour together. The service was excellent and the food is reasonably priced and quite tasty. I definitely recommend this for a lunch meeting.
John is just getting his license and will be joining the Living in Lancaster Group at the end of October. Look for more information regarding John and his expertise. I just completed a deal with John's parents and sister and I am very excited to add him to our team.

I previously wrote about Brandon Hollinger building electric cars in Lancaster, PA. He has been doing this for several years with little background or mechanical skills. He is a musician who has played frequently at the American Music Theater. However, he became interested in the electric car and the rest is history, so to speak.
Brandon was in a contest sponsored by EVTV for the opportunity to receive $20,000 in electric car parts. Some of you voted for Brandon and I am thanking you here publicly. Brandon won the competition.

One of the amazing factors in Brandon's victory was the power of social media. Many of my friends posted about this contest on Facebook and invited their friends to vote for Brandon. You can see that Brandon had 1000 votes. When the competition results were no longer public, Brandon was actually a few votes behing the fellow who received 519 votes.
Thanks to you who voted, there will be another electric car in Lancaster, PA.

Field hockey is a great sport. One can find some very good field hockey played in Lancaster, PA. Last night I attended with my wife the field hockey game between Lancaster Mennonite and Cedar Cliff. It was a very exciting game and was well played by both teams.
Lancaster Mennonite led early in the second half 2-0. The teams played evenly matched throughout the entire night with one team having the upper hand for several minutes and then the other team would take control. However, in the end the girls from Cedar Cliff would score 3 unanswered goals to claim the victory 3-2.
Find a good high school or college field hockey game in Lancaster. Learn the game and become a fan.
