• All the bells and whistles
• Little bigger than the Jones next door
• 3000 square feet or more
• Big Price and Big Taxes
• Yes just a few short years ago this was the house to buy,build, and everyone wanted one!

Today's Home that is selling...

• efficient ... smaller utilities, smaller taxes, smaller home...People want to downsize from the Colonial to the Rancher or Bi-Level
• economical .... In my neck of the woods that price is hovering right around $200,000 and is approximately 1500 to 2000 square feet.
• Expandable... People want the basement or room above the garage where they can add on if needed.

I believe the folks that are buying and building include first-time homebuyers and the downsizers... So my plan is encourage my builders building spec homes to build the ranchers,the bi-levels, that are smaller can be expanded but right now they are affordable. How about your area? Build what they need and want and they will come! People will always need a roof over thier head... Realtors will always be needed to help renters, builders, folks reselling! We just need to evolve as the market dictates.

Looking for the perfect place to escape for lunch hour and you are limited to 5 dollars. • Fresh Hot tea to sip and relax for a few moments of reflection
• An actual attentive pleasant waitress with a smile , this is fresh food served in minutes
• Bowl of Hot soup or Egg Roll. Wonton Egg drop mix is filling and awesome
• Choose between almost 25 different entre's - each meal is made fresh and is steaming hot out of the wok
• each comes with tasty pork fried rice
• every meal then come with that fortune cookie to cheer your day - have yet to receive a negative one
• Can afford to bring my sweetheart which makes the whole meal even more enjoyable

Overall this restaurant deserves a great review and I love sharing this special place with my friends and co-workers.

Just taking a few moments to remember those that sacrificed thier time,energy,health and many the ultimate sacrifice of death so I could live Free. I want to say thank you! As I sit here at my computer I remember my favorite veteran who served in the U.S. Coast Guard, yes that was my father who passed away several years back. Boy am I glad he was willing to give of himself for his country and for me in so many ways... brings back alot of good memories of my Dad... and I am sure there are those in your mind today that served our country... It was thier sacrifice that allows us to be free!

Country Junction a landmark family owned retail store in Lehighton was destroyed by fire on October 3, 2006 . It employed around 200 people and it was 170,000 square-foot building on three acres.

They have begun rebuiding after almost 3 years. Ground breaking took place this past July 3rd.

The new building is going to be 50,000 square-foot.

Yes I know statistics sometimes can be taken out of context... But with all the negative press how bad the market is I thought I would share with Local Realtors,Buyers and sellers the Carbon MLS Statistical Market Analysis for the Past Year in Lehighton,PA 18235. I would Like to Point out some POSITIVE POINTS # 1 - 97 Active home Listings at this point and 20 Listings Pending.( That is almost 20 percent of listings are under contract) Pretty good! # 2 - Even Better is that this past year 54 Homes actually Sold. ( That is almost 50% of homes that were put up for sale actually sold).

Lets apply these statistics sellers, If you properly price your home and choose a good realtor in Lehighton then your odds of selling your home are very good. If you are a realtor that properly prices the home in Lehighton and you list 20 Homes then you will close on 10 Homes if you do your Job properly. So what is the Magic number for Lehighton ? Yes there are a lot of variables... Location...Conditions...and upgrades. But bottom line is your home in Lehighton needs to listed at somewhere around 95 a square foot and then has a good chance of selling in 63 days.
