I recently lost my Dad. I thought I would share it with my Active Rain Friends.

I recently lost my Dad. He was 86, and passed away on October 14, 2008 He was a good man, and inspired others in a great way. Burke Bradbury age 86 April 12, 1922 - October 14, 2008

As a Navy veteran, he served our country in WWII As a Veteran of the Boy Scouts, and an Eagle Scout, he served the youth of the area for 74 years. An expert ventrilloquist, he performed at hundreds of banquets and entertained thousands. As a former engineer with The Massachusettes Institute of Technology, he designed gyrospopes.
As one who loved to tell jokes, he made people laugh. As a leader of the Boy Scouts, he helped coutless boys earn their Eagle Scout Award.

Thank you Dad for giving me life. We will miss you.

Love you Always,

Don

This Is Why Haycock Township Is a Mystical Place!

I took A Drive Last Week Around Haycock Township, Bucks County! It Was A Gorgeous Day Almost The Perfect Temperture And The Sun Was Shining. My Trans Am Had The T-Tops Off In October And Tom Petty Was Blasting! Could It Get Any Better? (I Don't Believe It Could Have)

I Have A Website For My Farm Area Which Is www.HomesInHaycock.com And I Have Been Wanting To Pictures Of For Awhile To Show How Beautiful It Really Is. Plus It Was A Great Excuse To Get Outside.

Haycock Township Is About 10 Miles Outside Of Quakertown. It Is Out In The Country. There Are Places To Hunt And Fish On State Game Lands And Parks. Places To Go Camping. There Are 2 Lakes, Lake Towhee and Lake Nockamixon.

If You Are Looking To Find Out More About The Area Contact Me. I Would Love To Tell You More And Show You What You Could Be Your New Home In The Country.
