Just finished dining at La Vina Spanish and Italian Restaurant located on Rt. 715 in Reeders, PA. The owner and host Mario, hails from Spain and the authentic Spanish flavor is present from start to finish. Their homemade sangria is a delight that will set the mood right. My wife had the paella which our server Danny recommended, as he stated that is their signature dish. My wife had to take a good amount home as the portions are very generous. My son had meatballs and spaghetti, but there are many kid-friendly choices including hamburgers and chicken dishes. As for me, I went on the Italian side of the menu and had the clams oreganata to start and the veal sorrentino. My meal was also outstanding, you just have to be prepared as the sauce is more of the Spanish variety rather than Italian. The menu had a great selection a the desserts were out of this world. My wife and son shared a Tartufo and I brought home a cannoli which I have yet to eat but looks sooo good. Prices average around $18 per entree and come with soup or salad. Bread was also served prior to the meal along with freshly made bruschetta. If you are not familiar with the area. You can take I-80 to exit 299 (Rt. 715) and head South. La Vina will be on your left hand side just past Reeders Express deli.
