50th Folk Festival In Upper Salford Is Coming August 19

The folk fest is the Philadelphia area's answer to Woodstock.

This year is the 5oth Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival. The Festival has an audience of over 12,000 people per day for four days.

This is is operated with the help of 2,500 dedicated volunteers.

After the holidays are over, leave your Christmas tree at the curb to be picked up by the township road crew.

Pick Up Dates:

First Monday after Christmas - December 27, 2010

First Monday after New Year's Day - January 3, 2011
Second Monday after New Year's Day - January 10, 2011

The recycled trees will be chipped and used for mulch in the township parks.
