The Animal Welfare Society of Monroe County is a no-kill shelter for our animals, opening in the old PSPCA building in Stroudsburg. With a lot of volunteers and donations from the community and local businesses, they will be opening on November 14, and not a minute too soon! This Saturday, October 10, is Stroud Township's Community Safety Day and Open House, from 10am to 5pm at the Arlington Fire Station (next to the Stroud Mall on Rt 611).
