Nouveau Wine Dinner 6:00 p.m.
This is the earliest chance to sample the first vintages of the new harvest. It’s also a great opportunity to purchase wines for the upcoming holiday season to give as gifts or to drink at dinner. This 4-course wine dinner will focus specifically on Beaujolais from around the region. Reservations are necessary.
If you have never visited The Restaurant at the Station, you're in for a treat!

Make sure you stop in and vote for your favorite house, created by local artisans. All proceeds are donated to Toys for Tots plus the creator of the winning house will recieve $100 for Christmas gift giving!

Moonlight Garden Walk
8 pm, Stonehedge Gardens, 51 Dairy Road, Tamaqua, just off Route 309 at Leiby’s intersection. $10 fee includes wine and cheese, followed by a guided walk through the 7-acre garden.

The mission of Stonehedge Gardens is to provide a healing, sacred, inclusive environment for the cultivation of personal and community transformation and wellness through the gardens and nature, the arts and holistic education.

“Christmas Boot Camp”
The Gallery at the Tamaqua Art Center has the solution to eliminate the stress of the holidays – “Christmas Boot Camp”. Beth Hadesty-Job, a Gallery guild volunteer, will lead participants through the task of planning for the holidays, providing ideas for gift giving, budgets, cookie baking, menu planning, decorating ideas, handmade gift ideas and help with establishing family traditions for the holidays.
The five-week class will be held Monday evenings, starting November 17, 2008, from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Gallery, located at 114 West Broad Street, in downtown Tamaqua. The registration fee is $20 and will include all the materials needed for all sessions. Class size is limited to eight adults.
Christmas Boot Camp is a great opportunity to make this holiday season fun for the entire family.

Tamaqua Area Mystery Tour 10 - 11:30 am with "Porcupine" Pat.
Meets at the Tamaqua Public Library on Railroad Street. This will be a flat hike featuring wilderness-like views. Free and open to the public. Dress according to the weather. Poor weather cancels. More information call 570-622-4124 ext. 113
