Is The Housing Market Slowing You Down? ~:~ Achieving Your Real Estate Goals In A Slow Market - Jul 13 05:21 AM
It's the end of the world as we know it! Honestly! To listen to media outside of the real estate industry, the housing "bubble" is about to burst and foreclosures are at an epidemic rate. News like this would make it seem like this is the first time we have ever had a slow market. These headlines have sellers shaking in their boots, and buyers wary of purchasing.
The first thing everyone should do? CALM ...

Baxter Black Country: Red Tail Hawks Nesting in Benson, AZ - May 14 10:31 PM
The speedometer was pegged at 50 mph, and I was heading down SR 90 towards Karchner Caverns in Benson, AZ.  Talk radio was blaring.  Hannity, I think.  (I'm a right wing nut case, raised in a Latin American country where the Minister of Finance was castrated in public during the 60's.  Wouldn't that change the political mood?!  But I digress.)
Having been a hunter (first with the gun, and now with the camera) since my childhood in the Amazon, ...

4 Wheel Drive Real Estate - Aug 10 11:41 AM
I LOVE MY JOB.
It is diverse. I can sit at my computer and use my left brain to develop my web site or pour over data to see developments and write marketing reports. This week after writing my blog about the land market in our area I have gone out in the field...and mountains and mud!
I've gone 4 wheeling and hiking for most of the last week and a half. I've been doing several things. ...

Open House Radio Show - This week home safety and security - Feb 23 08:05 AM
Well folks, my new real estate radio show is into its seventh week. My guest this week was Officer Scott Borgstadt of the Sierra Vista Police Department giving home security and safety tips.
The response to the new show has been fantastic. I have chosen to leave the doom and gloom reporting to the networks and focus on the positive news and keep interesting guests on that people will look forward to hearing.
My show airs every ...

Small Town 4th Of July - May 25 12:44 AM
There is nothing more Patriotic than a Small Town 4th of July Celebration.  I have enjoyed festivities in cities and towns across the SouthWest, and the amount of pride I have seen in rural towns amazes me.
The whole town stops its daily activities and everyone participates in a parade, or pagent.  There are usually games and refreshments, entertainment, and patriotic themes all day long.
I will be posting the events and calender from the Small ...

Inside the cave you will walk along ...

Buy, Buy, Buy!!! What are you waiting for? Buy a house today!!!!! - Jul 11 11:23 PM
So, I keep reading in the newspaper, on the cable news shows, and even here on AR that the market will be down for a while, and I have even heard the talking heads recommend that buyers wait another 6 months. What for? I think this is as good a time to buy as ever, the sellers who are on the market are more motivated (they're the ones who have hung on through the fall). I'm seeing some ...

To Sell or Not to Sell........ That is the Question. - Oct 29 08:40 AM
William Shakespeare may have said "To be, or not to be: that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer. The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them?" But for those selling a home in our current market, the real question should be "To Sell or not to Sell".
It's a question many homeowners ask themselves when they contemplate selling a ...

Market and Marketing in Bisbee and Douglas AZ - May 17 07:20 PM
In our neck of the woods, trends are more of a local event than a national following. We recently had the usual slow down because of snow birds heading back to their chilly northern homes. That was all well and fine....and to be expected. I started new marketing campaigns and rearranged my home office. Then about 3 weeks ago the phone stopped ringing. The email leads stopped coming. "Oh dear!" I thought, "are we really going ...

Why you should visit Southern Arizona: Fort Huachuca - Jul 03 11:59 AM

Southeast Arizona is amazing......OK, yes I live here and sell real estate here so I am a little prejudiced. If you have never visited Arizona, you are truly missing and incredible vacation and maybe missing the best place to live in the country.
