Although Rockdale County it is the 2nd smallest county in the state, it is home to a number of great attractions such as, Panola Mountain State Conservation Park, Georgia International Horse Park which hosted the 1996 Olympic Equestrian events, and Randy Poynter Reservoir which is a 650 acre recreation and water supply lake in North Rockdale County.
