Weight Loss In Baton Rouge! Lose Weight In Baton Rouge, Louisiana!
Are you looking to lose weight in Baton Rouge. Don't feel bad if you have a few extra pounds you are hanging on to. There are many avenues to take in Baton Rouge when trying to lose weight. There are many companies that offer weigh loss treatment and maintenance.
The Wrap Retreat: This is my favorite. I have been going to The Wrap Retreat for years. I first decided to go when I learned I was going to be in a wedding. Getting wrapped, I was able to get into my dress right before the wedding. At the Wrap Retreat, you will lose 10-30 inches your first visit. It's NOT a water wrap. This isn't about losing water weight. It's actually all about a certain mineral that shrinks your fat cells and puts them closer together. If you lose inches from the wrap, it will last to 8 weeks but if you are on a diet and eating healthy, you will actually lose weight and more inches. It's awesome and I love it!
Aspen Clinic: If you are looking for a weight loss program, go visit the Aspen Clinic. They have doctors on staff and medications on site. They have been serving the Louisiana area for 18 years.
Performance Weight Loss Clinic: This is another weight loss program that has doctors and medications on site. They are located on Airline Hwy. They have 25 years experience in diet and nutrition.
Weight Loss Control Clinic: If price is an issue, you might want to visit this clinic. They say that they are the lowest priced medical weight loss program in the Baton Rouge area. You will receive counseling at each visit about nutrition. They also offer follow up care and medication.

The Wrap Retreat! Baton Rouge Body Wraps! Losing Weight in Baton Rouge!
Are you looking to lose weight in Baton Rouge? If so, you should visit Dana Rider at The Wrap Retreat in Baton Rouge. Dana is probably the best in Baton Rouge when it comes to body wraps. You are probably wondering what a body wrap is. I was always curious about it so I had to go see for myself. I was very successful in losing inches and gaining energy.
The body wrap and solution that Dana uses is the best, detoxifying, most slenderizing wrap on the market today. The body wrap is the Suddenly Slender Wrap invented by Victoria Morton in 1973. The wrap allows you to decide where you want to slenderize and sculpt the thighs, abodomen, hips, waistline, bust line and upper arms.
The Suddenly Slender Baton Rouge Body Wrap is not a water wrap. It is actually a mineral wrap. It's a great way to detoxify the body and gain energy while losing inches. All it takes is 60 minutes to pull toxins out that we carry in our bodies. The body wrap also helps you to lose weight because of the removal of toxins. There are many body wraps on the market but some of them are not safe because they put chemicals in their solution. You need to make sure that you are doing a Suddenly Slender wrap that is completely safe and so beneficial for your body.
Dana Rider is awesome at what she does. She actually taught the wrap while at a conference in Florida. Dana guarantees a 10 inch loss with your first Baton Rouge body wrap, or it's free. The Wrap Retreat is located on 15049 Florida Blvd at O'neal Lane.
If you are interested in getting a wrap, Call Dana Rider. (225)275-3485. Dana's cell is 650-8178. Visit her website at The Wrap Retreat or e-mail her at wrapretreat@bellsouth.net.

Lake at White Oak, Baton Rouge, LA ... YARD OF THE MONTH AWARD
6021 Huckleberry Court
The tall oak trees in this yard on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Lake at White Oak provide the house with cool shade and protection from the afternoon sun and a garden for shade-tolerant varieties of plants. The garden in the front yard is full of hostas, ferns, and ivy that provide a green background for flowering plants like begonias, petunias, agapanthus, and indigo. There is a daylily garden along the side of the house that was in full bloom a few weeks ago when the judges toured the neighborhood for an award-winning yard. A huge multi-colored lantana surrounds the mailbox. A few garden statues like the little bunny hiding in the liriope and a squirrel sitting on the side of a birdbath add interesting focal points.
The house itself is typical of the beautiful homes in the Lake at White Oak. Arched walls on the front porch and a brick wall that creates a patio garden make this house special. A large urn with sunflowers greets guests at the front door. Curving gardens accentuate the beauty of this home.
Congratulations to the homeowners. We'll be driving by to get great ideas for our own gardens!!
Baton Rouge Sullivan Oil Company Announces E85! Baton Rouge Goes Green With Gas!
Wow, it's finally here. I'm sure you have seen in different magazines certain kinds of gas labeled with a picture of corn. Well, Sullivan Oil Company is offering E85. What is E85? It's a cleaner, biodegradable, high octane fuel that reduces dependence on foreign oil.
E85 Stations
There are nearly 1200 Gas Stations in the United States where you can fill up on E85 ethanol fuel.
The number of stations offering E85 is expected to double in a little over a year as service stations are being offered incentives from Government and Ethanol Industry grants up to $30,000 to install E85 Fuel pumps. THIS WILL BE BATON ROUGE'S FIRST SOURCE OF E85! Take advantage of it!
So, How Much Is This E85?
The National average price of E85 was $2.89 in April ,53 cents less per gallon than unleaded gasoline.
Eighteen States had E85 priced at least 15% less than unleaded.
E85 will be offered by Sullivan Oil Company at 4637 Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge, La. I am hoping that more of these pop up in and around Baton Rouge.

Have you heard the good news?
Money Magazine just released the top ten fastest growing real estate markets in the nation and Baton Rouge ranks 9th.
10 Fastest-Growing Real Estate Markets by Money Staff Yes, even amid the housing crisis, parts of the U.S. are still expected to post price gains in the coming year, according to Money Magazine. Here's where to look. The housing implosion is nowhere near over. In 75 of the 100 top U.S. cities, prices are expected to fall in the next 12 months according to Fiserv Lending Solutions. The S&P Case/Shiller Home Price Index, which tracks 20 of the largest housing markets, showed prices plummeting by 12.7% in the 12 months ending February. That's the biggest fall since the index began tracking prices in 2000. Meanwhile, foreclosure filings more than doubled in the first three months of 2008, spiking 112%. So far this year 156,463 families have lost their homes to repossessions. Many markets won't hit bottom till late 2009 or even 2010. Pity the residents of Stockton, Calif., whose homes are likely to lose more than half of their 2006 value. But if you happen to live in Texas -- or any of the other cities below -- congratulations: The housing tornado passed you by.

Let's Keep Baton Rouge, Louisiana Beautiful. Don't Litter!
People do it all the time. "Oh, it's just a ciggerette" or "Oh, it's just a cup". If everyone says, "Oh, it's just", then we will have Baton Rouge looking like trash land. Please don't litter in Baton Rouge or in our beautiful state. If you are driving in your car, get yourself a personal trash can to put in your vehicle or times when you need to throw away unwanted items.
In Louisiana, anything that you throw out of the window and ends up on the ground, it's considered littering. Louisiana says even if you have something in the bed of your truck and it flies out, you are still responsible, crazy uh? So, make sure everything is tied down in the bed of your truck. If something flies out then you better make sure that you turn around and go get it.
Did you know that in 2004, clean-up crews gathered over 450,000 bags (20,000 miles) of trash in Louisiana? How sad is that? This is all because we can't put trash where it belongs. This amounts to $14 million dollars a year that is spent on cleaning up our state.
Littering doesn't come with a slap on the wrist. Fines range from $75-$5000. There is also a term of 4 to 100 hours of community service and possible jail time. You also could have your driver's license taken away. Ouch! So, if you litter you lose!
Let's keep our beautiful state litter free. Don't be a litter bug! If you see someone litter, call and report them at 1-888-LIT-R-BUG. Go above and beyond, pick up trash if you see it. You can even volunteer to help clean up. Do it for your state, Baton Rouge and your children. If you would like more information, please visit www.keeplouisianabeautiful.org.
Oh and by the way, if you are looking for a Baton Rouge & Denham Springs real estate agent who isn't a litter bug, please give me a call!!
