Total number of single family home sales, 1st quarter '08: 46. Change from same period last year: -16, a decrease of 25%. The median price was $376,450. The change from the same period '07: -$52,050, a decrease of 12%.Average Days on Market was 147, almost unchanged from the same period last year (150). The average List Price to Sales Price ratio also increased slightly, to 95% from 96%.There are currently 103 single family homes on the market in Natick, down from 113 a year ...

Not Necessarily.......Sorry to be so non-committal but it is true. I have been fortunate in representing sellers who not only have lovely homes but they have good taste. These sellers do not need a Stager. Your Realtor may have some minor suggestions which can make a home marketable from a buyer's view.I have also represented Sellers whose homes needed so much work that the best approach was to have them get the house clean but it ...

30-year fixed rate at 5.96%; 10-year Treasury yield at 4.39%

Long-term mortgage interest rates fell considerably Friday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield sank to 4.39 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average dropped to 5.96 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate sank to 5.57 percent. The 1-year adjustable held at 5.73 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield declined to 4.69 percent.
Rates and bonds are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
