Hi ya'll, guess what.....we still have lots of money to lend and I actually have not had a problem closing my loans at all. I realize the world has gone bonkers over the next possible great depression BUT guess what....people are still buying homes with good ol fashioned VA, FHA and State Housing loans.
And NO, you don't have to have perfect credit...why just yesterday I closed an FHA with a 602 middle score and a VA with a 580 middle score. So, just to reiterate this for you first time home buyers. You can still buy your first dream home and there is still down payment assistance ($5,000 from SC State Housing) for you and it's not so bad as the news is portraying it to be.
So, get out there and buy a home and do your part to stimulate the economy and guess what....if you're a first time home buyer you will even get a nice fat check from Uncle Sam along with your tax return for up to $7,500.
