Average Home Sale Price in February 2012 was $387,566, homes sold on average for 92% of list price and homes sold were on the real estate market for 119 days on average.

Home sales are up 200% over last year same time and pending home sales in Narragansett are up 55%…this is very encouraging news for sellers. Buyers are definitely out there buying this year!

There were 177 Narragansett homes for sale in February 2012 which was a 5 % increase over the prior month(8 more homes for sale). Narragansett RI Home Sales by Price Ranges- January 2012

Average Home Sale Price in January 2012 was $496,403, homes sold on average for 90% of list price and were on the real estate market for 121 days on average.

Median Home Sale Price in January 2012 was $492,500, median price of homes sold was 93% of list price and the median days on market were 62 days.

There were 169 Narragansett homes for sale in January 2012 which was a 8 % decrease over the prior month(15 less homes for sale). Certainly the choice of homes in all price ranges are there for interested buyers. In the $1 million category, there are 35 Narragansett luxury homes for sale right now. Certainly the choices of homes in all price ranges are there for interested buyers. In the $1 million category, there are 31 Narragansett homes for sale right now. The number of homes sold in December was 58% higher to the number sold in the prior month…. sales continue in this waterfront Narragansett community.

No Narragansett short sales sold this past month. RI short sales continue to grow in the various RI towns so working with the North Kingstown short sale agents decidedly makes the difference in a successful outcome.
