Crape-murder

K.T. Ruthven ePro: Real Estate Agent in Savannah River Plant, SC

Aiken is truly the most beautiful town I have ever been in and now have the pleasure of living here. One of the reasons is because of the attention to detail the city has placed on the trees, shrubs and flowers. Recently the city placed a fine on the a local shopping center because their landscaper trimmed the crape myrtles back too far. Although I agree they have been trimmed too much, however, I believe a warning to the strip mall, which is located on a major road in town and already has several empty stores, would do the job. The city of Aiken will up hold their ruling and the struggling shopping center will have to fork over the money to replace each of the trimmed trees. Has everyone in government forgot their role? The government is here to protect the people, not pass their agendas. The trees will grow back but the shop owners have more important worries such as the struggling economy.
