Wordless Wednesday - Lake Hartwell Early Morning Fog

This is a photo my daughter took of Lake Hartwell in 2011. I love the effect of the fog rising from the water. It was cloudy in the distance and from the trees, it was late summer and the leaves had just begun to change slightly.

The Tiger Cove Grill and Campground is located right on lake Hartwell! This quiet, family friendly grill and campground is everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. The grill opens at 11:30 Wednesday – Sunday and closes at 8:00 on weekdays and 9:00 on weekends. Private memberships are required but you can get yours, which is good for up to 4 guests, for only $5 a year. Stop by for a bite to and be sure to check out the amazing views of the sunset on the lake.

The campground has tent camping, full RV hookups and for those who want to feel like they’re camping yet have all the luxuries of home they have 4 full efficiency cabins with a view of the lake that have everything you could want including cable TV. Pontoon and canoe rentals are available for your cruising pleasure.
