Charleston SC Realtor Bryan Thompson has enjoyed walking into some of these homes his entire life. Says Charleston SC Realtor Bryan Thompson, "walking through these drawing rooms and parlours of homes where my great grandparents were guests and were entertained, inspires me to find the right historic Charleston home for my clients for their own histories."

| Located at the tip of historic Charleston's downtown is South of Broad. A famous address which has been visited by Robert Edward Lee, Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington and many others. Sitting between two rivers, Ashley and Cooper, which flow out into the Atlantic Ocean. South of Broad SC homes consist of buildings dating back hundreds of years that hold secrets only the deceased fully know. Horse carriages entertain visitors by riding them through the homes and giving them stories of the families who once, and still might, reside in this historic region of the world. Church steeples rise above the homes and tree lines, and let their bells ring out through the streets. South of Broad real estate for sale consists of magnificent mansions, Charleston singles/carriage houses and sections of homes sold as condominiums. Wrought iron gates enclose these magnificent households to keep a little privacy, which leaves outsiders imaginations to wonder. From the gas lights at entryways to custom moldings throughout the interiors, you will know you are in Charleston, SC. There is nothing else like this small piece of the south's history. White Point Gardens, as seen in the picture, is a favorite destination for weddings and the daily walk/bike ride. Great spot to watch the large ships come in or some of the frequent sailing regattas.
