Rulers - notebooks - pens/pencils - bookbags -calculators... even clothing, clothing accessories, footwear, bed linens and shower curtains are state and local sales tax free during this shopping period.

There will be awesome sales everywhere from Staples to Target....watch for the sales flyers in the mail and in the newspaper.

Just curious. Have you had to cut back on your 'normal' vacation activities this year? A lot of us have.

You know - the beach is not far from us. About a 2 and a half hour drive to Hilton Head. There are several public beaches with free parking. Pack up the kids, pack up a picnic lunch, and go put your toes in the sand! R-E-L-A-X!! For most of todays cars - you can get there and back on less than a tank of gas.

Don't want to drive so far? How about Aiken State Park. Bring the tent and enjoy nature! Or just visit for the day - bring your lunch, hang out by the lake...... make a day of it :) R-E-L-A-X!!
