The 2nd annual Folly Gras Parade is scheduled for Saturday, February 13th at 2pm. Center Street will be closed from noon - 5pm for the festivities. There will be arts and crafts on sale in the Folly River Park. Local restaurants will be preparing special New Orleans food and beverages. Live bands will perform from 2 - 5pm. In 2008 there were 77 properties sold at an average price of $506,209. The average sold DOM was 138.

In 2009 there were 59 properties sold at an average price of $476,188. The average sold DOM was 219

Based on the above statistics the average sold property price in 2009 was down 6% from 2008. The number of properties sold in 2009 was down 23% from the number sold in 2008. The average sold DOM in 2009 had increased by 59% as compared to 2008.

In 2008 there were 9042 properties sold at an average price of $291,915. The average sold DOM was 103.

In 2009 there were 8170 properties sold at an average price of $252,739. The average sold DOM was 115.

Based on the above statistics the average sold property price in 2009 was down 13% from 2008. The number of properties sold in 2009 was down 10% from the number sold in 2008. The average sold DOM in 2009 had increased by 12% as compared to 2008.
