All natural birthday/wedding cakes. Greenville South Carolina.
Coffee to a Tea, is a family owned and run bakery and coffee shop which has just recently moved into the space on the West End vacated by Sassafrass Cafe.
Aubrey Stevenson and her mother Dawn along with sister Cara prepare great natural food specializing in cakes, which can be served by the slice, and specialty coffee, espresso and tea. The family run business is the result of an urge to provide an all naturlal alternative and the willingness to take a risk. Aubrey explained the genesis of the cafe, "My mother is a talented artist/baker and had been working in a field that was no longer rewarding. She taught me to bake. She taught me basic cake decorating.I took it from there."
The cafe serves great sandwiches and soup featuring artisan style breads. The commitment to all natural ingredients give the Cafe a distinctive edge.
Aubrey takes pride in the artistic flourishes involved in the special event cakes. Using unbleached flour and natural homemade fondant produces a healthier alternative to regular cakes. But, judging by the results, has no effect on the creative possibilities. "The artist in me craves a challenge and is always fulfilled when new and unique cake concepts present themselves!"
So if you need a great classical wedding cake with natural ingredients or a cake of a frog cycling a bicycle for a kid's birthday party give Coffee to a Tea a call.

Who knew that fondant could be part of a healthy balanced diet?

Augusta Road Area, Greenville, South Carolina
Since the inception of the city of Greenville, South Carolina the Augusta Road area has been a premier location. The growth of the textile industry in the late 1800s, which was to bring national attention and status to Greenville, precipitated the development of Augusta Road’s trademark estate style homes which still stand amid the tree lined streets.
Fortunately, despite the decimation of the once central textile industry, the Augusta Road area avoided the urban decay common among other textile towns and actually thrived by retaining a strong sense of community and co-operation between home and business owners.
The Augusta Road area is unusual in the ease with which one can walk to local businesses allowing quick access to shopping, banking and dining.
The Greenville Hospital System’s Main Campus, which is the largest health provider in South Carolina, is located on Faris Road which crosses Augusta.
Greenville Country Club, is proud to feature two golf courses, Riverside and Chanticleer. Chanticleer is a Robert Trent Jones designed championship course which has been rated in Golf Digest’s Top One Hundred. The country club is a mainstay on the Augusta Road social scene providing a premiere private club experience.
Although the Augusta Road area has a stand alone quality it is located only five minutes from downtown Greenville proper.
Due to the proximity of I85, GSP airport, now featuring South West Airlines, is only a 20 minute drive.
