What do all these number mean for the homeowners of Prescott Glen? Home prices are stabilizing based on the negotiation discount average of 2.6% from the list price. The average range in a normal market is between 2-3% if the home was priced correctly. Back when the home market was in decline, it was around 4-6% reduction from the list price or more. Days on the market (DOM) is average to 3 months. A well priced home on average to be on the market 3-4 months. The home market is picking back up in Lexington SC but better for homes less than $200,000. The pool of home buyers for above $200,000 is more from our local buyers rather than relocation from other states.

Prescott Glen in Lexington SC is an established neighborhood with great appeal. Entering from Barr Road, many appreciate the landscaped entrance, plenty of green spaces, community clubhouse, saltwater pool, playground, variety of homes to suit everyone, abundance of cul-de-sac streets, and best of all great neighbors. I live and work in Prescott Glen and so it is a pleasure and pride to show this neighborhood to my buyer clients. The price range of homes are from the $170,000 to the $300,000. The construction is a mixture of all Vinyl, Vinyl/Brick Partial, and All Brick Homes. The square of the homes range from 1600 sq ft. to 3300 sq. ft. with a few exceptions. The average lot size is from 1/4 to 1/3 of an acre.

The Home Owners Association is active with an annual dues of $400. The Social Committee is very active with Easter Egg Hunts,Summer Pool Parties, and Fall Festivals. The kids love these events.

Location is great with close convenience to I-20 (2 miles).
Prescott Glen is zoned Lexington One Schools, for the following Pleasant Hill Elementary, Pleasant Hill Middle, and Lexington High School. All the schools are within a 10 minute drive from Prescott Glen. The Country Club of Lexington is only minutes away on Barr Road.
