Breakfast

Yum, yummy, yum! I bet you are hungry now! Madra Rua is not only an evening happy hour and great place to watch soccer and other sporting events... it can also fry up one yummy breakfast. Probably shouldn't eat like this too often but now and then a start like this is quite a treat!

From 526

Storm Last Night

Fort Dorchester High School, North Charleston, South Carolina

Black sky, scary clouds, and BAM - the lightning shall come!

The storm that hit Charleston last night came quickly, pounded hard, and then hit the road.

Facebook makes storms even more interesting as you see your friends post what it's like at their home. Knowing who just lost power or who is watching their garage can roll down the street keeps us connected like never before.

Like Running? Like taking Chances?

Laura Sargent ~ Carolina One Real Estate: Real Estate Agent in Mount Pleasant, SC

This almost sounds cruel for people that want to win races or beat their own personal best time but at the same time it calls to those that love taking a chance!

The Chance Run

  • Wednesday, July 13, 6:00 p.m.
  • North Charleston Wannamaker County Park

This race features a split in the course that forces runners to choose one of two routes. Runners who choose the wrong path will find themselves on a slightly longer course than those who selected the other route.

Fee
$20 or $16 (Charleston County Residents)

Registration
Online registration is open now through the day before each event. Late registration and packet pickup will be available on race day from 4:30–6:00 p.m.

May you choose the path you want!

This is a 9 day event that has something for everyone no matter your age!

The Main Event starts on Saturday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and Charleston Area Convention Center and the fun ends on the 7th with music, dance contests, and fireworks.

The celebration runs for so long because individual events and acts can be found at different locations throughout North Charleston. You can find entertainment, contests, art, and crafts, some events inside and some outside, all week long!
