About North Myrtle Beach's Sunset Harbour

1408 Waterway Drive, North Myrtle Beach, SC is located in Sunset Harbour, a gorgeous waterway community with homes ranging from upper 200,000s to well over $2,000,000. I have blogged about this property before...price has been reduced to mid 500,000s. I strolled the community a few weeks ago taking pictures of all the new construction on the waterway side of Waterway Drive and a few pictures of surrounding homes on the other side. It is the smallest house on the street currently up for sale. The new owners will be surrounded by multi-million dollar homes, even in this market.

Spectacular community with upscale homes in prestigious Sunset Harbour in North Myrtle Beach is located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway just past the old Cherry Grove swing bridge. The neighborhood has a strong appeal for those who can afford the multi-million dollar homes on the waterfront or to more modest patio homes at the back of the community. Lots range from just below $100,000 to close to a million for waterfront. Homes range from a few in the upper $300,000 to a couple million for the waterway properties. Surprisingly, the homeowners' fees are less than $1300 per year. The property was turned over to a group of elected members who do a great job of managing the property. The common areas are beautifully landscaped and there are large ponds stocked with catch and release fish. Residents enjoy a beautiful pool, clubhouse, pavilion, boat ramp, fishing piers, and a gated storage area for boats, campers, and enclosed trailers. Sunset Harbour is one of the very few communities developed with gorgeous views of the waterway throughout the community and owners have easy access to the water. The neighborhood is just minutes from restaurants, a hospital, clubs, medical clinics and the beach. The new North Myrtle Beach connector to highway 31 is just down the road so owners can easily travel from Cherry Grove to Murrells Inlet in a short period of time.
