Surprise: Gas Prices

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price of gas today in Upstate, South Carolina. The price of gas was $2.999 per gallon on one corner and $2.959 per gallon on the other corner. Was I seeing things? Was that first number actually a "2" not a "3"? I wasn't the only one questioning the signs, it seemed liked everyone was slowing down to look at the signs. It was almost a traffic hazard. There were 20 to 30 cars deep waiting in line for the "cheaper" gas. It was encouraging sign. I hope the lower prices will continue. it will help lift everybody spirits.

Week-end Wedding

I attended the wedding of my nepfew this past weekend and it was just awesome. It was in a small chapel on the top of Glassy Mountain in upper South Carolina. The views were breathtaking. Then on to the reception and a sit down dinner and dancing. It was so fine.

Grand Grandchildren

I can't wait untill tomorrow, it's Friday, and I get to pick up my grandchildren at school and pre-school. They are so beautiful and so precious to me and I do look forward to the 'next' time I am able to spend some time with them. They are just the right ages to cuddle and love you back

Moldings, Iceing on the Cake

It's amazing the differance a little bit of decorative wood molding can make. Frame out a picture window, add deep crown molding to a high cieling, even a simple chair rail in a guest bathroom changes the entire look of the room. I just believe you can not have too much molding.
