During the month of September, 2009 there were 20 new residential listings in and around the Black Hawk and Piedmont area compared to 13 last month. The total # of homes for sale is 84 compared to 84 last month. 18 homes have sold or are under contract compared to 12 last month. Avg. price of a single family home in the Black Hills is $175,139 down from $186,095 last month, with an average of 76 days on the market which is down from 83 days last month. Sellers have been receiving 96.79% of their asking price which is up from 96.66% last month. 
During the month of September, 2009 there were 96 new residential listings in and around the Rapid City area as compared to 78 last month. The total # of homes for sale is 443 as compared to 419 last month, which reflects single family homes only. And 58 homes have sold or are under contract as compared to 55 homes last month. Avg. price of a home in the Black Hills is $175,139 as compared to $186,095 last month with an average of 76 days on the market as compared to 83 last month. Sellers have been receiving 96.79% of their asking price as compared to 96.66% last month.
