Today Robert Eley stands beside his SONEX, a fixed Wing single engine aircraft. Eley who was the Pilot escaped injury after his plane lost power and crashed in a field along Sango Road.

The call came in just before 1:30 PM and the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office along with the East Montgomery Fire & Rescue responded to the scene.

It was later determinded by FAA Aviation Safty officer Gerald A Martelli, Jr. that his findings as a simple incident. He later released the scene to local authorities and the air craft to Mr Eley.
