Well, now I have my own evidence that it works! Today a buyer that came to me via my AR blog, put an offer in on a lake property. He had called me about three weeks ago and inquired about buying land in Tennessee on Norris Lake. After some discussion he decided to come down this weekend to look around. He apparently found a nice piece of property on which to build his vacation home and made an offer. I referred him to a friend who also works the lake and lives right there. I do this on the occassions that the buyer is looking for something that I don't have or that I am unfamilar with. It is better for the customer and I always say, a little of something is better than all of nothing.

Norris Lake Tennessee Investment and Retirement Destination on the Waterfront

Norris Lake has it all; great marinas, wave runners for rent, beautiful views and scenery; great real estate investment opportunities, and great fishing and boating. The counties surrounding Norris Lake have low property tax rates. I have been selling real estate on the lake for the last 10 years and no matter what kind of real estate it is; waterfront or waterview, condominiums, homes, marinas or development waterfront land; the average rate of appreciation has been a minimum of 11% annually.

This entire region has shown up in surveys as the number two retirement destination and it is a darned good investment destination too, wouldn't you say at this type of annual appreciation with low taxes too? Back in the Saddle or err... the Boat! Why I Do What I Do

Yesterday I went to Norris Lake to work. A novelty for sure. SInce my hospitalization I have been more or less in shutown mode as far as work is concerned. I had no choice. Yesterday I had to go, like it or not. Guess what? I LIKED IT! It felt really good to be back doing "my" work. No, I didn't end up selling anything, but, I remembered why I do what I do; why I work the lake with it's beautiful scenery and the friendly people that I've come to know -- because I love it. Oh yes, it usually pays the bills too, but, I could stay home and just sell houses if that is all it was about. Yesterday gave me courage and confidence and a strong reminer of why I do what I do. In many ways, this has been a turning point, a significant day in my real estate career!

The Beautiful Norris Lake Tennessee --A Vacationers Dream!

Well here I am working on Norris Lake, my regular haunt for over 10 years. I thought that it was time that I tell everyone some about the beautiful Norris Lake, known to be the cleanest lake in the south! The lake has several popular areas. This picture is taken near Stardust Marina on the Andersonville side of the lake.
