Winter Time in the Smoky Mountains

Well winter is here.The air is crisp,mornings are clear-views are incredible,the deer are everywhere,coyotes and fox are roaming.Signs of the country life are all around us.A few weeks ago I went up on the Foothills Parkway the mountains were lit up with orange,red,green,yellow,copper.The leaf change was beautiful this year,it is really something to see,it will take your breath. A season of change,a breath of fresh air,really gave me a new perspective on some things.I am keeping a positive attitude to the Real Estate market recovering,how can it not?We have so many gorgeous properties for families who want a rural atmosphere with all the ammenities just around the corner.If you ever get a chance come and visit for a good old time with your family.Snow skiing in Gatlinburg,horseback riding,hiking trails,picnic areas,festivals,music,dining,4 wheeler activities,take a ride across the mountain.to Cherokee Nc to the casino or to play bingo.Guarantee you will have a great time.

Well our area is growing with foreclosures,some have signs in the yard and have for 6 months or more and you can not even get the companies that have the listings to set a price,I could have sold 3 over the past few months,I call and call and no one ever returns those calls or I get someone who says ,I will call you when we set the price,do not put the sign in the yard and post on mls if not available and a price set.It really makes the investor made and makes us all look not so smart,what is the deal? If a REALtor has a client and has cash money and the pay off is known, yank their arm off, take it do not run them away.

Losing the place you call home!

I have been a furniture seller for a while ,not putting families in homes,but selling what they have left to put them in rentals,motels and buy food.I have never seen anything worse.Owners offer us first months rent for bringing a renter and we tell them to give the families a free months rent. Our office is surviving at the time,but it is hard,how can you take from people who are losing everything? What more can we do to help? When is there going to be light at the end of the tunnel?What happens when families run completely out of money?I have sold a few pre-foreclosures,went rock bottom on commissions a few hundred dollars a transaction.I have had several qualified buyers,they can not get a loan,seems like it may come to a standstill in my area.I chose a career in REAL ESTATE to assist people in finding their dream property ,meet new friends,every client I have had is close to my heart.It has to change and soon or the situation here in TN will be devastating.
