Birds, Blooms and Butterlies Garden Gala in Jonesborough is Saturday, May 28. Garden tours are 12;30-5, with tea 1-4. Seminars and workshops will be in the morning, starting at 9:15.

Admission is $12. There will be tours of a number of special gardens, seminars, plant clinics, gardening products and refreshments. Tickets are available at 423-753-1010 or at Jonesborough Visitors Center.

This annual event is sponsored by the Tuesday Garden Club and the Schubert Club of Jonesborough.

A friend of mine, Pat Smith, will be demonstrating her work and selling her pressed flower pictures in front of the Storytelling Center.
