A home I previewed this week at 890 Rodney Dr, Nashville TN, 37205, is a lovely contemporary, built in 1987. The home has over 3,000 sq ft, and is priced at $509,900. This home is listed by Chris Lambos of The Realty Association.

Chris and I first met a few years ago when he was the agent for his sister who bought a condo I had listed in Bellevue. It was a pleasure to work with him then, and I wanted to see his new listing last weekend.

This home has an open floor plan, on 3 levels. There is a gorgeous view of the ‘West Meade Lake,' especially from the upstairs windows. This lake was formed, the neighbors say, before the subdivision was built when there was a rock quarry there. The workers hit a spring while digging one day, and the hole filled up quickly with water. Luckily the workmen got out safely, but some equipment was covered in water and never retrieved.

This property has a decorative iron fence around the back yard, so that the lake can be viewed but is not easily accessed by little ones.

But anyway, if you want to live in Davidson County's Nashville in the West Meade area and want to live there for under $350K, here are my top three choices:

First up, a lovely renovated ranch at 860 Brook Hollow Road for $299,900! 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths and over 2500 Square Feet!

All of this on nearly an acre!

Second, 968 Windrowe for $299,992. 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, a little over 2000 square feet on a full acre!

Renovated Kitchen!

Uh-oh, I feel an "Emily" suggestion coming on --- *update the exterior by painting the brick a nice 2008 color and update that landscaping for some better curb appeal - easy to do and fairly inexpensive*

And last, but not least, 825 Highland Park Court for $339,000. This home boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and offers over 2500 square feet on 0.64 acre. NOTE: THIS HOME DOES NOT BACK UP TO THE RAILROAD!

Renovations GALORE!

Okay, I went for the gusto and put in all of the pictures of this darling house. And my close friends know why... I LOVE BUILT-INS!!! Built-ins to me equal "I don't have to buy a bunch of new furniture to store stuff in!"

If i had to choose between these three, I would pick the first and least expensive of the three. The renovations have been done, even down to the exterior landscaping/painting. The house is situated on the "true" side of West Meade and has the square footage that the last one has to offer as well.
