About Addison's Midway Meadows

If you live in one of the single family homes in the Midway Meadows subdivision in Addison, Texas here's a heads up for you:

After a successful National Night Out party in the fall, the committe is back at work planning the next block party. Put Sunday, April 19th on your calendars, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (or until we get kicked out of Dome Park).

We're working on a plan for food (thank you in advance to the Secchi family, owners of Ferrari's Italian Villa in Addison and in Grapevine), entertainment, drinks, and the "get to know your neighbors" aspect of the event.

MARKET UPDATE: Addison's Duplex Homes in Midway Meadows 7/1/08 - 12/31/08

There are currently 2 duplex homes on the market in Addison Texas, ranging from $194,900 to $199,900.

Since July 1, 2008, there have been 2 sales in the neighborhood with $122.26 being
the average price per sq. ft. (up from $120.09 6 months ago). Homes sold from a low of $215,000 to a high of $220,500. Higher priced sales typically reflect homes that have been updated.
The highest sale was at $137.30/sq. ft. (down from $142.94/sq. ft. 6 months ago).

Tuesday night, October 7th, the residents of the Midway Meadows subdivision in Addison Texas congregated at Dome park to celebrate National Night Out. Thanks to Sam's Club, ice cream and water was available. The Locked Out Comedy troupe performed. Meatball sandwiches (yum!) were provided by Jane and Franceso Secchi, owners of Ferrari's restaurant.

Addison police and firemen joined us, as well as Mayor Joe Chow and council members Greg Hirsch, Todd Meier and Roger Mellow. Our city manager, police chief and fire chief were there, too.

A big THANK YOU to Barbara Hirsch, who organized the event!

Need a Night Out? Sure you do! And that night should be Tuesday, October 7th. National Night Out brings neighorhoods together to fight crime and increase communiity awareness through police-community partnerships. It is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

In conjunction with National Night Out, the Midway Meadows subdivision in Addison Texas is having a neighborhood get-together at Dome Park (corner of Dome and Sherlock) from 6:30-7:30 pm. Come meet your neighbors, visit with the police and fire fighters, and eat some ice cream.

Light appetizers will be provided by Jane and Franceso Secchi (owners of Ferarri's restaurant). They live in the subdivision.

Locked Out Comedy will perform at the event. They will help mingle/warm up the crowd and then around 6:45/6:50 they will do some skits/games from "the stage".

• Between February 16, 2008 and September 15, 2008 there have been two sales in the neighborhood
• The high sales price per square foot was $107.82
• The low sales price per square foot was $105.55
• The average sales price per square foot of Sold Properties was $106.68
