Our Coldwell Banker United NW Office is not only the top Coldwell Banker United office but we have the most fun! We all get it that we need listings to make the phone ring!

Our company is having a company-wide listing contest running from January 30-April 1st. Every listing we obtain makes us eligible to pop a balloon at our weekly sales meeting and discover a cash prize inside! A true Show Me The Money experience!! I made the "A" team again this week!!

On April 17th during our joint sales meeting the top Listing Agent and Team will be recognized and awarded with a chance to win three $100 cash prizes. Obviously the more listings you take the better the odds at winning!

Each year our NW Austin Coldwell Banker United office likes to give back to our community in a variety of ways. One of our favorite activities is supporting the Austin Children's Shelter at Christmas. There are so many children that would not be having a Christmas if groups like ours didn't help donate gifts.

It's fun to shop for children within a variety of ages. Our grandkids gave us all kinds of ideas for the gifts we purchased for the Austin Children's Shelter...they insisted on us procuring soccer balls, footballs and basketballs...they say these items are a must! Of course they encouraged board games and UT apparel too! We followed their recommendations and they are bought and under the tree:).

We have found many of our clients like to donate and we will pick items up as we have until December 20th to gather all gifts. On the 20th all gifts are taken to the shelter...unwrapped so they can determine how to distribute.

Come on be honest does your office hold sales meetings you wouldn't miss? I can truthfully say I time block my Tuesday mornings for our weekly sales meetings and I'm in attendance unless I have a closing that cannot be rescheduled at another time. Why? Because there is too much valuable information I can get within an hour time frame.

This past Tuesday, Mary Ellen Schmidt, our account executive with American Home Shield served up some awesome pancakes and sausage, juice and fruit for breakfast (Marian, our office manager, kept another griddle going).Then she rolled out AHS Warranties new branding and Combo pricing for their programs. Yes, Mary Ellen I was listening...the word of the day is COMBO...you can now get all three plans...Core coverage, Coverage Plus and Service Plus for $475 starting January 1, 2012! To obtain these 3 packages the old price was $490.

Richie Rodriguez, our very own Coldwell Banker Mortgage loan officer gave us an update on Mortgage rates and domestic data that will help guide the market movements in addition to the EU headlines...good stuff Richie!!

Eric Pike, The Director of Texas Homeownership Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs gave a great presentation of why now is a great time to buy a home in Texas! Their Texas Mortgage Credit Certificate program will provide eligible first time home buyers the opportunity to receive a federal tax credit to reduce their income tax obligation. The dollar for dollar reduction against their federal tax liability frees up income that can help the household qualify for a mortgage loan and meet mortgage payment requirements.

Of course, our fearless leader who Geno refers to as "The Chief", Vanessa, lead the meeting reminding us of keeping our tradition up in supporting the Austin Children's Shelter, where we stood in production for November, reminded us of our Holiday Luncheon next week along with various Office training scheduled, etc. As always, our NW Coldwell Banker United office participation was great...not only did we get breakfast but some good information and reminders before going on property tour.

An office who plays, works and shares together...stays together!!

Oh, and did I mention that Lonely Planet Staffers named Austin and the Hill Country the 4th best place to visit in the U.S.?

The NW Austin TX Coldwell Banker United Office Did It Again

Yahoo!! Today, Lyndsay Varner, our Community Manager with the American Cancer Society, came to our NW Coldwell Banker United sales meeting to talk with us and congratulate us on our fund raising efforts! At the beginning of 2011 we pledged to contribute $6,000 and we met our goal by 10/31/2011!

We had fun participating in the Relay For Life, held 2 lunch and silent auction events, made donations from closings and also gathered some outside donations.

We had a great time and are thrilled to be able to present the American Cancer Society with a $6,000 donation check. We are all committed as most of us personally have experienced with agents in our office, family or friends the fight with cancer. Our own CEO has battled four different cancers and won!

Our NW Austin TX Coldwell Banker United Office is made up of top producing, caring agents and a Broker who believes in making a difference. It's all about giving and this time of year it is a rewarding feeling to know we accomplished what we set out to do in January of 2011!
