The Crossing at Onion Creek was developed in late 2004, with the last home completed in the beginning of 2006. This is a small quaint neighborhood nestled partially around a green belt and
just north of the popular Onion Creek Golf Course. This neighborhood breaks the stereotype of
the east Austin communities. Very Low Crime, and quality build homes by Lennar and Village
Builders. It's within close proximity of the newest mega shopping center in South Austin called South Park Meadows.

As a former resident I can personally tell you this is a great neighborhood for a first time homeowner, family, or retiree. I was one of the first to buy a home in this neighborhood, it was the first home I had ever purchased. The location is phenomenal. Your a straight shot to downtown,
easy access to the interstate as I mentioned earlier, and this is a very well maintained neighborhood
with very friendly neighbors.

Property values in this neighborhood spiked in the summer of 2008 and have since trailed downward. In recent months it appears that property values have been back on the incline. This would be a great time for a first time homeowner to buy into the Crossing At Onion Creek.
