About Austin's Regents

River Place's annual 4th of July picnic is coming up soon. Make your plans to attend and get barbecue, ice cream (provided by us) and many other goodies for the adults and kids. This years will be a tad different as we are having the event at the club rather than at Woodland's Park on Lake Austin. Last year we cleaned out the 1000 plates of barbecue and 1000 cups of ice cream; thus, we anticipate the event to be even greater than before.

The purpose of having it at the club was because the the heat. I am not so sure how well having 1000 people in the pool will work, but it could be interesting. Actually, a portion of the crowd will be in the pool and everyone else will be either around pool side or in the club. This is a great opportunity to meet all of your River Place neighbors.

SO MARK IT DOWN NOW ON YOUR CALENDAR! I look forward to seeing you there and we are thankful in helping sponsor the event. We also hope all enjoyed the 1000 flags in the neighborhood for Memorial Day. Feel free to put the flags back up for the 4th.
