About Austin's Sol Austin

After the fanfare and furor have died down about the net-zero community in East Austin, construction continues at SOL Austin. Homes here have a zero energy bill option - the super efficient geothermal HVAC kepe usage down and solar panels can offset usage completely.

There are still a couple of homes under construction there right now, and last I checked they were 50% complete. While there are still home sites available, non are in the MLS - let me know if you want more info on these. Prices are around $200/sqft which is staggering for a new 5 star gree home 3.3 miles as the crow flies from downtown Austin.
