Door to door transportation to medical appointments for area residents is provided by the Bay Area American Red Cross. Volunteers are needed to drive local non emergency medical transportation utilizing Red Cross vehicles, which are insured. Drivers are asked to commit to shifts of between two and four hours each week, and training is provided. Rotarians will serve up breakfast on Saturday, February 16th form 7 to 10 am. at Nassau Bay Baptist Church in Nassau Bay. The event will benefit Space Center Rotary Endowment Foundation. Young musical artists from Houston area high schools, junior highs, and elementary schools can compete in the annual Youth Concerto Competition at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and held by the Clear Lake Symphony on March 1, 2008. Winners will be given a scholarship and an invitation to perform with the symphony. The winners will perform at the April 5th concert in 2008.
