JESTER PARK
Corsicana, TX

Beauford Jester Park is located at 600 West Park Avenue. This 24 acre park was designated by the Corsicana City Commission and was dedicated in 1964 to the memory of Beauford H. Jester. Jester was Governor of Texas from 1947-1949 and died while in office.

Area residents can cool in the pool which is open during the summer months and can also be rented for private parties. The picnic pavilion-historical marker has housed many family reunions and parties throughout the years. There is a basketball court, playground, Lefty Frizzell Memorial and Pioneer Village Historical Museum.

FULLERTON-GARITTY PARK
Corsicana, TX

Located at 3201 McKnight Lane, this 25.5 acre park was designated by the Corsicana City Commission and dedicated in 1989. You can enjoy the warm summer nights listening to music in the park during scheduled events held at the outdoor amphitheater or participate in other activities offered here throughout the year. There is a large picnic pavilion with electricity, tables and seating-great for birthday parties or family reunions, tennis and basketball courts, jogging trail and various playground areas. In October of 2008, the Noon Lions Club donated baskets and signage for a nine-hole disc golf course.

COMMUNITY PARK CORSICANA, TX

Community Park is located at 400 Oaklawn Drive. This 45.5 acre park wraps along Oaklawn. Near the northeast entrance is the YMCA. There is something for everyone at this location! Beebe Field Baseball Complex is where the local little league baseball games are held. There is a soccer field, practice soccer field, Mertz Tennis Courts, 1.6 mile hike and bike trail, various playgrounds, picnic pavilion, gazebo, skate pad ramps, water spray park and BMX track.This is a great way to spend the day and enjoy the outdoors. It is also a pretty route to get in those exercise walks on the trail.

Bunert Park is located at 201 Bunert Park Road in Corsicana, TX just off of East Highway 31. This 16.5 acre park was obtained in 1958 with the help of Mr. Albert Bunert, Sr., later inheriting the Bunert name. It is a community park for all to enjoy the swimming pool, softball field, basketball courts, picnic pavilion, playground system and jogging trail. It is a beautiful park with large oak shade trees. Many community and memorial events are hosted here throughout the year as well as a baseball practice field for the local little leagues.

The Pocket Park is located at 118 North Beaton Street in Downtown Corsicana. The park is nestled between two buildings and was selected by the Arts in Public Places Committee as its first project to become a pocket park. The park's area is approximately 3000 square feet where locals and tourist can discover a pretty place to sit, visit or have lunch.

Occasionally, you may hear a band playing or smell food cooking for various sponsored events held at the Pocket Park. The cascading water fountain, landscape and bricked stage area also make for a lovely photo shoot location.
