Do you love pagodas? This great pagoda is in a cemetary near Jimi Hendrix's grave in Renton, Washington. Who ever designed this space really paid attention to the details, even the iron work is wonderful and the colors are pleasing.
Second view of cool pagoda. What a great place. I know its a final resting place, but it made me smile when I was there, and I didn't want to leave. Someone did a wonderful job of planning this. If you know who did it, please let me know. Who wouldn't want to have a fun place like this around you forever? Fountains, babbling brooks, bridges and wonderful landscaping make it a wonderful retreat. Oh, and by the way Jimi Hendrix's memorial is not too far away.
Even the markers are beautiful. This is a gated secluded corner for a family.

Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park -- Seattle unit is tucked away in downtown Seattle -- in fact if you weren't looking for it you would probably walk right by without noticing it. The address is 319 Second Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104.
The San Francisco paper proclaimed the horrible freezing and famine for the Klondikers, but Gold Fever prompted them to go on to the gold fields.
Miners were required to show proof they had 1500 pounds of food stuffs before being allowed to continue on to the Klondike.
This shows the typical lodging for the gold miners. Very rustic and primative.
In front of this newspaper case is where they have a place to get an embossed copy of a steam ship ticket they used back in 1897 for the people going to the Klondike. (The gift shop also has the National Park Passport stamp).
