Kempner Tx homes are one of the truly great areas to live in the Ft Hood area if you are looking for a little acreage and a quieter, country lifestyle.  

I live on the west side of Kempner Tx, where the trees and brush are still thick, the wildlife is always entertaining and you can just kick back and enjoy nature!


Mother Nature has not been too kind lately and we've has no rain to speak of in the last three weeks.  The ground is dry, the grass is drying up and the water sources for deer and other wildlife is shrinking.   

So, when the weather takes this turn, we fill the small water trough at the back edge of the yard and then enjoy seeing who turns up to water during the day.

Big Mama and her twins came to water right before sundown last night.   Big Mama is always nervous, always scanning her surroundings, making sure there's no danger nearby before she will let the twins come in to drink.

Looks like one more fawn joined in!
