BUGS ON MY WINDSHIELD!!!!!

As a general rule I enjoy life. I have never been afraid to takes chances in life and now thanks to maturity in business. Life is kind of like driving, sometimes you get bugs on your windshield.

Being self-employed is the ultimate motivator but sometimes you get bugs on your windshield! Like the lender who doesn't communicate or the client who can't make up their mind or the !!!@........~~

Or more seriously, the challenges in life that become disabilitating; family, friends, health.....

I am blessed....fortunate...thankful!!! My challenges are positive.

The point is simply this: DO YOU SEE THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSET OR DO YOU SEE THE BUGS?

One of the challenges in the Richland Chambers Lake real estate market is limited inventory. The lake is turning out to be a wonderful place to live and most people who live on our lake simply don't want to move. There are plenty of places to build and to be quite honest building costs in our area are not prohibitive.

This situation is giving rise to numerous builders building and wanting to build spec homes on Richland Chambers Lake. We are personally only a few weeks away from opening a new office on the Lake and consequently have been approached by several builders to market and Pre-Sell their product.

I am a relatively new Realtor (I am an experienced custom builder) and as such would desperately love to hear from someone who has experience in new construction pre sell and marketing for builders. I have some ideas but trust me "I do not know it all"!!!

I have been exposed to the Buffini Systems for years. I have now been in coaching a little more than a year and I am finally gaining some traction from putting the systems in place. I have never had a problem with the notes, less trouble with the popbys, But I hate the calls! But the key to ALL of it is in the dialogues. Without the coaching, I do not think I would have ever figured out the power of the dialogues. I have started educating my buyers and sellers a little more directly about how I do my business upfront. I am a little shy by nature and it has always been hard for me to ask for the referrals. My fear is that I will come off as needy. And Needy is creepy, Right?? This is strange because I am a very confident person and secure in my abilities. I know that I am the best person for the job, SO why is there something inside of me that prohibits me from communicating that value? Well, I have finally been able to overcome some of that by teaching the 100 Days of Greatness Class to the agents in my office. The neat thing about that class is that you sit and practice using the dialogues. It makes it a lot more comfortable to do when you are sitting with clients! Anyway, for those of you that have had the same road blocks as I have, I hope this helps! It was not until I fit this piece of the puzzle, that I could see the whole picture! And the picture is more referrals, more business and more leads! Boy it is the GOOD LIFE!
