      <title>Amarillo High School:  LADY SANDIES WRITE HISTORY: THIRD CONSECUTIVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;LADY SANDIES WRITE HISTORY: THIRD CONSECUTIVE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;A FIRST FOR CLASS 5A SCHOOLS&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;The Amarillo High School varsity volleyball team beat Austin Westlake in the State volleyball&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;finals Saturday, Nov. 22, to become the first Class 5A team in the State's history to win three&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;consecutive state volleyball championships.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;The Sandies vs. Westlake match finished 19-25, 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, and 15-11. The match was&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;held at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos. Last year, the Lady Sandies also played Austin&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Westlake for the state title. This year's win is coach Jan Barker's 7th state title as a volleyball&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;coach at Amarillo High.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Senior Aryn Bohannon was named most valuable player for the Class 5A state tournament, with&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;14 kills, 13 digs, two blocks and an ace.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Hey, it's getting cold outside!</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;I got this recipe from a good friend, and my family loves it. As soon as the weather begins to get colder, they start asking for it. The recipe and preparation are so easy, this makes a perfect weeknight meal. Serve White Chili with extra sour cream and cheese along with chips or flour tortillas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed&lt;br /&gt;1/2 cup diced onion&lt;br /&gt;1 can white corn&lt;br /&gt;1 can garlic chicken broth&lt;br /&gt;1 small can green chiles&lt;br /&gt;1 can great northern beans&lt;br /&gt;1/2 teaspoon cumin&lt;br /&gt;1/8 teaspoon basil&lt;br /&gt;1/8 teaspoon oregano&lt;br /&gt;1 small carton sour cream&lt;br /&gt;Salt &amp;amp; pepper&lt;br /&gt;Monterrey Jack Cheese&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a large saucepan, cook the chicken breasts, onion and broth until tender. Add the next 5 ingredients (through oregano). Simmer 10-15 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Lower the heat and add sour cream, salt, pepper and cheese. Stir well to combine. Heat until cheese is melted. Serves 4-6.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
