The City of Heath is providing a free disposal and recycling of the old and unwanted that may be lurking in your home and garage! This is an opportunity to get rid of all your old stuff and a great way to get a jump start on spring cleaning.

What: Free E-Waste Collection Event

When: Saturday, February 18

Time: 12:00 to 3 PM

Where: Rockwall-Heath High School

Acceptable E-Waste Items include: Monitors, tv’s, computers, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, main frames, hard drives, circuit boards, cell phones, cordless and corded phones, stereos, dvd players and other consumer electronics, as well as small household appliances including microwaves, blenders, shavers, etc.

Also Collected for FREE: All ink and toner cartridges; all types of batteries; and eye glasses for Lion’s club. For additional information: contact eco@trashbusters.org, 972-524-0007. Household Hazardous Waste.
