Ed White Elementary School - Campus Rateing Exemplary. Our school opened in 1965 as El Lago Elementary. The name was changed in 1967 to Edward H. White II Elementary in honor of the life and accomplishments of Edward Higgins White II -- the first American to walk in space. He perished in a tragic fire while training for the first manned Apollo mission. We are proud of the legacy he has left this school and community. Seabrook Intermediate School - Campus Rateing Exemplary. Seabrook Intermediate also houses the Science Magnet Program, which allows us to offer a uniquely enriched Science curriculum with many outside science activities. Clear Lake High School - Campus Rateing Exemplary. Clear Lake High School has a curriculum which consists of almsot 330 courses for students to choose from to help better prepare themselves for college, universities, technical schools or a career.
