About Elgin's Cedar Hills

The other day I was doing a final walk through on a home I was helping my Client purchase in Cedar Hills just outside of Elgin in Bastrop County. After the walk through was done and my Clients and I went our seperate ways I took a couple of minutes to drive through the subdivision for a look see. It was a lovely fall day with cooler weathter that is much appreciated in these parts as we had such a long hot, dry summer! The subdivision has a quaint park with a pond and it was so picturesque I couldn't resist taking this picture to share. It is so pretty it makes me want to learn how to paint or work with pastels!

Cedar Hills is a small rural subdivision located just outside of Elgin in Bastrop county in Texas. There are two entries in to the Cedar Hills off of Highway 95. Cedar Hills has light restrictions and no mobile homes are allowed. The roads are paved. There is lots of natural privacy created by all of the Cedar trees in the subdivision and there is a lovely private park area with a small pond for the residents.
