4/14/1935 - 10/31/2011
I’m at a complete loss for words right now, My Father George Hrisco passed away unexpectedly on Monday 31 October 2011. I ask that you keep our family in your prayers. For those that have asked here is the information regarding his services.
(FYI, that is a 40 year Placque for his work at Bell Helicopter Textron, he received several years ago, he actually worked there 48 1/2 years, was going for 50). I only hope I can give half the dedication that my Father did in his career.
Visitation: to be held this coming Sunday 6 November 2011 at Lucas Funeral Home located at 1321 Precinct Line Road Hurst, TX 76053 from 18:00-20:00 (6-8 p.m.)
Funeral Services: to held this coming Monday 7 November 2011 at Lucas Funeral Home in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m.
Interment Services: to follow at 13:30 p.m. (1:30 p.m.) at Dallas / Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Because this is Breast Cancer Awareness season, and we lost our Mother; Mary Hrisco in 2005, and I know my Father supported her in her fight, we ask that you consider making a donation to my Agent for the Cure program (in lieu of flowers) in their memory along with your information as well. (FYI, my wife and I just got done volunteering over 71 hrs in October in our support of Race for the Cure, so the current total should change drastically soon).

George J. Hrisco, 76, passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Interment will follow in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials are requested to www.InMemoryofMary.com benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure /Agent for the Cure program in memory of his late wife, Mary. George was born April 14, 1935, in Velka Polana, Czechoslovakia, to Michael and Mary Hrivnak Hriciso. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Following his military service, he went to work for Bell Helicopter where he remained employed for over 48.5 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary. Survivors: Sons, David Hrisco and wife, Marissa, John Hrisco and wife, Lynn; brother, John Hriciso and wife, Valerie; sisters, Suzanne Chavtur and husband, John, Mary Ann Mikula and husband, Steven.
