Tankard Fellowship Tuesday the 8th

We have a City Council runoff election going on right now! Have you meet my candidate of choice, John Keating yet?

Tomorrow night - Tankard Fellowship will start at 7:30pm and I invited John to come speak to us. His comment was, "I would love to speak, let's have the event at my house!"

So I will share all the details with the first 20 to RSVP to me. And after two full days at early voting locations, today and tomorrow from 7am to 7pm - maybe we should buy him the beer.

Tankard Fellowship is a Monthly men's event held on the 2nd Tuesday with an 8:30pm start time at Lochrann's Irish Pub. The idea is simple, Christian men connecting over a pint. It started in June, 2008.

"All participants in any Tankard Fellowship event shall assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur during or arising from their participation in the event. All participants hereby release and hold harmless Tankard Fellowship and its individual organizers and promoters from all liability."

 

Starwood is a luxury community in  Frisco TX. Its location just off the North Texas Tollway and Lebanon makes this community highly desirable for residents. Within minutes, residents at Starwood Frisco are off and on the Tollway with SH 121 also nearby. The homes in Starwood are start in the low $400K to Million Dollar Luxury Estates.

Starwood Frisco is a gated community with 24 x 7 security guards at the gates. Only residents have the car tags for access into and out of the community while visitors can only enter and exit from the main entrance. This provides higher security for the neighborhood. Starwood is a beautiful community with meandering trees, lush wooded walking trails, newly remodeled Community Center, indoor sports court, fitness center with weights and cardio equipment, children's playground, family and kiddy pool, and tennis courts. There are also lakes, ponds, creeks, waterfalls and fountains.

Residents at Starwood enjoy community gatherings such as community cookouts, Easter extravaganza, children's playdates, 4th of July Parades, Back to school potluck, Halloween and the annual Light Up Starwood during Christmas time with horse-drawn carriage rides.

Starwood often features great homes built and designed by well-known architects in the area. There are a large selection of various architectural styles of homes to select from: traditional to Mediterranean, modern and contemporary. Starwood names its little phases and communities by names so residents and visitors know the areas they live/ visit. Homes in Starwood Frisco are built from the mid-1990s and over the years, new custom home builders have been building at Starwood. There are some lots still available for sale at Starwood. Some of the renowned custom builders that built Starwood include Sanders Homes, Bob Bobbitt Homes, Pierce Custom Homes and Hawkins-Welwood Homes.

Homeowners association dues are $445/quarter (March 2010). The dues cover the management fees, security guards and maintenance of the community amenities.
