Cedar Springs Subdivision is located west of Loop 1604, north of Bandera Road (State Highway 16) just before the intersection of Bandera Rd & FM 1560 (entrance) in Helotes, Texas. This Helotes, Texas town was founded in 1891 as a corn-on-the-cob farm community, it's namesake. Noted landmarks include John T. Floore Country Store which opened in 1946, and is a registered historic landmark as well as a favorite for Willie Nelson and other country stars. Helotes, Texas has many family events like the Cornyval Festival.

Most of the homes built in Cedar Springs subdivision were built by Centex and Anderson homes in the 1990s, but there are a number of custom homes that were initiated in the 1980's.
