More Reasons John Hrisco & Associates is Now a Part of RE/MAX
As Dave Liniger, RE/MAX Chairman and Co-Founder recently put it at a recent RE/MAX Broker/Owners/Managers conference in Los Angeles, “We’re No. 1 in virtually every way; let’s be bold about saying so. It’s time we got our swagger back.” “We have the best, most productive, most experienced agents in the business, and there’s no reason to be shy about what that means."
For Instance:
And we are No. 1 in the eyes of most of our national competitors, who understand that RE/MAX continues to be the home of top producers who outperform their agents year after year.
"That’s just the way it is, and we should be bold in saying it."
These are just some of the factors that came into play when deciding on where to plant my real estate flag going forward. But just for grins, here is the RE/MAX top ten list, these may have had something to do with it as well.
Bonus Reason: The Influence of Your Peers’ Performance. (Hang around other successful agents and your personal production will improve)
These are just some of the many reasons why you should trust John Hrisco & Associates of RE/MAX Heritage to assist you in your next real estate transaction, whether that is to list your home for sale, or if you are a first-time home-buyer, or existing homeowner moving up to a new home. Whatever your real estate needs, we look forward to serving you.
p.s. my next post will be introducing you to my new office.

If You Want to Be the Best, You Have to Be With the Best!
Okay, so in my last few posts, I have highlighted me receiving my new Real Estate Broker License, from the Texas Real Estate Commission and how you can successfully pass your Salesperson or Broker Licensing Exam on your first try. But the question still remains, now that I have that broker license, what's next? I have been alluding to the decision on where I have decided to hang my real estate hat, so hang on, we’ll get to that in just a minute.
One thing that I know for sure now, is that having a broker license will certainly open up a lot more doors now, than not having one. It seems that when you have a broker license, you as an agent or broker now in this case are in a little bit higher demand.
When my former brokerage RealEstate.com, REALTORS was closed nationwide back in March, by the LendingTree Board of Directors, because I had just turned in my broker application to the Texas Real Estate Commission and starting to prepare for my broker exam, at the time, I decided to move my license where my former broker and the majority of the agents in the company decided to go with, (will remain nameless), because we were giving less than a week to decide what to do with our license. As you may or may not know, unless you are a broker, every salesperson must be sponsored by a broker, otherwise your license is returned to the Texas Real Estate Commission.
Upon receiving my Real Estate Broker License last month, I now wanted to do the due diligence that I did not have a chance to do back in March. Because I shuffled in between several different brokerages over the last year and half or so, I wanted to do my homework this time around and find a more permanent arrangement. I interviewed several brokerages in the area to find a good fit, I also considered starting my own independent brokerage as well and that is certainly an option going forward. You see, having a broker license opens up opportunities you just don’t have as a licensed salesperson.
After much research, several interviews with different brokerages and some serious soul searching I am pleased to announce that John Hrisco & Associates will be a part of RE/MAX Intl. | RE/MAX of Texas | RE/MAX Heritage. There are many reasons that I decided to affiliate myself with RE/MAX but instead of me telling you, why don’t I let RE/MAX CEO Margaret Kelly tell you instead.
After being with many different brokerages over the last eleven years, I can honestly say that for the first time in my Real Estate career I feel like I have found a home with RE/MAX, one that will be a long and fruitful one.
FYI, this post will be followed by a small series of post on why I chose RE/MAX as the place to hang my Real Estate hat so to speak, and then introduce you to my new office.

I recently posted about phase 3 of The Bluffs at Heritage. I was out on Sunday and took a photo of the land that has been cleared. It looks like they're getting ready to put the streets in. Lots should be coming available soon with Standard Pacific Homes and Toll Brothers. Please contact me if you're interested in building here. There are also numerous pre-owned homes available as well. Buyer representation is at no cost to you!
